Abstract

This present research aims to investigate the relationship between Personality Traits and Life satisfaction among Doctors. It was hypothesized that there is a relationship between Personality traits and life satisfaction among doctors. Cross sectional research design was used. Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) (1993) scale for life satisfaction by Dr. Diener and EPQ (1975) scale for Personality traits was used. Non probability purposive sampling strategy was used. The sample consisted of (N=60) 28 male and 32 female doctors were taken from the private and government hospitals of Lahore. Person product moment correlation, independent sample t-test and ANOVA were used for inferential analysis while descriptive statistics was used for analyzing the demographic data. The results indicated the strong significant negative correlation between personality traits and life satisfaction in doctors.
