Life Satisfaction and Quality of Life in Breast Cancer Patients

Abstract. The present research was conducted to explore relationship between Quality Of Life and Life Satisfaction in Breast Cancer Patients. The sample was taken from institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology Lahore INMOL hospitals of Lahore through purposive sampling technique. The sample included 60 female patients across INMOL hospital setting. The assessment scales included Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast Cancer FACT-B (Version 4) and European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire EORTC QLQ-C30 (Version 3). The descriptive and inferential statistics was used to analyze the results. Pearson product moment correlation was applied to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between quality of life and life satisfacation
